Cancellation Fees For Grab Passengers To Be Implemented Soon

Despite the recent complaints of commuters against many Grab drivers, the ride-hailing giant announced on Tuesday that it might soon impose cancellation charges for passengers who proactively cancel their bookings, in the same way Uber have done so.  

Grab’s marketing head, Cindy Toh, noted that this move is part of their 100-day plan to improve driver behavior and rider experience. The cancellation charges may be implemented before July.  Toh added that this is a move for the company to protect not just its riders but also their driver-partners.
