Most Filipinos Are Very Happy With Their Love Life According To A Survey
A survey conducted by Social Weather Stations (SWS) found that 51 percent of adult Filipinos are “very happy” with their love life—six points down from the 57 percent registered in 2017.
According to SWS, half of men (53 percent) and women (50 percent) say they are ‘very happy’ with their love life. Meanwhile, thirty-six percent said their love life “could be happier” and 13 percent said they “do not have a love life.”
Those who have the happiest love life was highest among those who are married—at 64 percent for men and 59 percent for women. The wish for a happier love life was highest among those with live-in partner—at 55 percent for males and 43 percent for females.
There are more single women with no love life at 59 percent compared to their male counterparts at 43 percent. The survey was conducted from December 16 to 19 last year. It has sampling error margins of ±2.6 percent for national percentages, and ±5 percent each for Balance Luzon, Metro Manila, Visayas, and Mindanao.
