These Are The Schedules For The Water Interruption Across Metro Manila

Metro Manila is currently experiencing a region-wide water shortage and it may persist until a few more months.

Manila Water on Tuesday has announced that there will be 6 to 20 hours of water service interruption daily, and it will go on until the rainy season sets in. They will be implementing a new water distribution scheme which will be implemented starting March 14 or 15 which will aid in slowing down the declining water level at La Mesa Dam and this scheme may last for the next three months until the rainy season.

Manila Water’s emergency source is the La Mesa Dam, and the dam itself draw water from Angat Dam. However, it has been running short as of late due to the increased demand.

Together with the announcement, Manila Water has released the schedules of water outage for respective barangays through their Facebook Page. The schedule are as follows:
